For a long time, that was my experience. Anxiety would arrive and something in me would immediately brace against it. Fight it. Try to think my way out of it, breathe my way through it, push it down before it took over. And the harder I fought, the louder it got.

It wasn't until I learned to approach anxiety differently that everything changed. Not fighting it. Not running from it. But anchoring into safety first, and from that ground, getting genuinely curious about what I had been running from.
Inspired by the work of psychologist and meditation teacher Tara Brach, Safe to Feel is rooted in the idea that the very thing we turn away from is the thing that most needs our attention. Not to be fixed or analyzed or conquered. Just to be met with openness. With curiosity. With safety as the anchor rather than the destination.
